Director
Susan Dunning, a former Big Sister, joined as
Executive Director in November of 2005. Sue brings
with her 25 years of experience from the corporate
world where she spent the last 13 years in HR
Management. Sue’s expertise includes organizational
learning and development, training, performance
management, health benefits and 401k plans. An
education major from West Chester University,
Sue Holds a BA in HR Management. Sue completed
graduate studies in Banking and Finance at University
of Delaware and in Human Resource Management from
Villanova University. In 2003 Sue attained her
Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) certification
from the Society of Human Resource Management.
Sue holds numerous certifications in training
programs and assessment tools.

of Development
Jacqueline
Brendel joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer
County in the summer of 2007 and was named Director
of Development in November. A former elementary
school teacher, Jackie has worked professionally
in fundraising, public relations, and political
organizing and has been involved in charity fundraising
in the Mercer County area as a volunteer for many
years. She holds a B.A. from Rutgers College,
where she was a Big Sister in a school-based program,
and a M.Ed. from Rutgers Graduate School of Education.

of Community Based Programs and Operations
Kim Cody has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Mercer County since October of 1995. Kim currently
manages program growth and office operations.
During her time here, Kim served as a Case Manager
for five years. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science
in Law & Justice from The College of New Jersey.
Director of School Based Programs
Prema Ramroop has been a Case Manager for both
School and Community-Based Mentor Programs since
January 2006. Prior to this, Prema worked in the
NJ social services system in both the foster care
and mental health fields. She holds a Bachelor
of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Social
Work from Rider University.
Case
Manager - Recruiter
Nancy Cox has been a Case Manager / Recruiter
for Big Brothers Big Sisters since June 2005.
A part-time employee, Nancy works with the Community-Based
Mentoring Program. She graduated from New York
University and has worked in case manager positions
and in a variety of upper-level management positions
for non-profit organizations, including a United
Way chapter in upstate New York.

Managers:
Tara
Belford has been a Case Manager at Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Mercer County since June 2007 and
was previously a Case Manager for Big Brothers/Big
Sisters of Burlington County from 1993-1997. Tara
spent 6 years working as an HR recruiter/generalist
at Bloomberg in Skillman, NJ before returning
to Big Brothers/Big Sisters. A part-time employee,
Tara works with the Community-Based Mentoring
Program. She graduated from Rider University with
a BA degree in Psychology and has started the
Counseling Master ’s program at Monmouth
University. Tara is also a former Big Sister.
Jasmyne
Bivins has been a case manager for the Community
Based mentoring program since September of 2007.
Prior to her position at Big Brothers Big Sisters,
she volunteered as a mentor in various community
programs and has a wealth of experience working
with children. She holds a BA in Sociology from
The College of New Jersey.
Joseph Faulknor has worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County since February 2008. He received his bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey and has worked with several local agencies dedicated to the betterment of Mercer County’s youth. Currently, Joseph serves as the case manager for Trenton Central High School’s Leaders of Tomorrow (L.O.T.) mentoring program.
Beth
Lawrence-Gill joined Big Brothers Big Sisters
in September of 2007. A part-time employee, Beth
serves as Case Manager for the School Based Mentor
Program. A Psychology and American Studies major
from Mary Washington University, she also holds
a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Trenton
State College (TCNJ). Beth has held positions
in social work, vocational development as well
as fundraising and development for non-profit
organizations.
Ariel Matos joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County in July 2008. He received his BA in English from The College of New Jersey and has volunteered for various organizations across Mercer County. Currently, Ariel serves as a bilingual Case Manager and helps collaborate with the TCHS LOT program.

Denise
Ratti has been a corporate representative in her
nearly 20 year career in sales and account management.
A mother of three, she now works for BBBS as a
part-time employee. She holds a B.S. from Rutgers
University’s School of Business and a Masters
of Business Administration from Rider University.
